The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has forecast sun and haze from Saturday to Monday across the country.
NiMet’s weather forecast released Friday in Abuja predicted sunny and hazy weather conditions in the northern region and north central states throughout the forecast period on Saturday.
According to NiMet, sunny and hazy conditions are expected in the southern interior cities throughout the forecast period.
He predicted that the coastal region would be under partly cloudy skies with intervals of sunlight within the forecast period.
The agency was forecasting sunny and hazy conditions in the northern region throughout Sunday’s forecast period.
NiMet predicted that north central cities will be in sunny and foggy conditions within the forecast period.
He anticipated partly cloudy skies with intervals of sunshine over the inland and southern coastal cities with prospects of few thunderstorms over the coastal parts of Bayelsa, Delta and Cross River in the afternoon and evening hours.
“For Monday, sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated in the north and north central regions during the forecast period.
“A partially cloudy condition with an interval of sunshine is anticipated in the inland and coastal parts of the country during the forecast period,” the agency said.
