As part of the efforts to effectively address the challenge of insecurity and vandalism of public infrastructure in FCT, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has marked an emergency response team in the Federal Capital Territory Command of the Body.

Commander of the NSCDC FCT command, Dr. Olusola Odumosu, speaking during the third lot for transmission of 200 people who underwent basic arms training at the command headquarters, Abuja, said that the elite team would serve as a quick response unit, especially trained and tactically equipped to quickly intervene in high -risk situations.
“Today's event is not just another ceremonial meeting. It is a solid statement of our unwavering commitment to the development of capacities, the operational preparation and general improvement of our internal security architecture within the territory of the Federal Capital (FCT).

He revealed that the first and second lots of 135 and 137 personnel, respectively, brought the total number of personnel trained in arms management to 472.
