The Government of the State of Ogun, in collaboration with Global Health Charity and Training Foundation and Remo Growthing and Development Foundation, has organized free and medical health services for more than 2,000 residents of the state.
This was revealed by the health commissioner, Dr. Tomi Coker, who declared that the medical scope that began on Monday would extend for four days, adding that all the destitute and the natives of the State are open to benefit from the program.
Coker said that free medical care in Ogun is one of the ways in which the Government seeks to address the shortage of labor due to dropout, which describes members of the Global Foundation for Charity and Health Training that leads medical scope as medical experts in the United Kingdom and the United States are not easily available in the state.

He added that some of the teams brought for the mission for the Global Health Charity and Training Foundation are not easily available within the State, and added that the beneficiaries would enjoy international services.
“This association also involves the Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta, where thoracic surgical procedures would be carried out, as well as the Teaching Hospital of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Sagamu; we are using these facilities because surgical procedures can only be performed in tertiary hospitals.
“I want to express my thanks to his excellence, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for providing a colonoscopy team that would be useful for scope and even much later; his investment in the health sector has been massive, because health is an important component of the social welfare pillar of the Iseya agenda,” he said.
Member of the Board of Trustees of the Global Foundation of Charity and Health Training, Dr. Adebayo Akintobi, said the initiative would present orthopedic procedures such as joint replacements, thoracic surgeries and urological services, including prostatectomy for prostate cancer patients.
Akintobi added that residents would also enjoy the services of Obstetrics, Rheumatology and Gastroenterology, adding that the dissemination includes expansive community health events aimed at 500 residents in places such as the Remo Community Center, the Akarigbo Palace, Oouth and the Alake Palace.
“Community health events will offer free exams for diabetes, hypertension, colon and prostate cancers, and cholesterol levels, with the aim of catching early health risks in the population; in addition to the various surgical and non -surgical services that change their lives in their health outings.”
For his part, the President, Governing Council, Resto Growth and Development Foundation, Otunba Seni Adou, described the initiative as an effort promoted by the community, and added that it was an easy decision for its foundation to provide maximum support.
