PDP reconciliation led by Saraki C'ttee meets Makinde behind closed doors

The former president of the Senate, the reconciliation committee of the Popular Democratic Party (PDP) of Senator Bukola Saraki (PDP) has met with the governor of Oyo, Engr. Seyi Makinde on how to reposition the party and unite the general elections of 2027.

Saraki and other members of the Committee, as gathered reliably with the governor behind closed doors in Ibadan, Monday night.

Our source reported that this would be the second time that the Committee would meet with Makinde in Ibadan.

The meeting aims to find Makinde's opinion on how to resolve the crisis that attacks the party.

“The party will soon hold its convention in Kano. There is a need to bring together all factions at war under an umbrella.

“As we all know, Makinde is an important factor to take into account in the game, hence the need to always take it.

“Although we were not aware of its discussion, since it remained private, it could not be connected to the resolution of the committee to end the crisis in the party.

Meanwhile, the former president of the Senate confirmed the meeting with Makinde on his Facebook page.

He wrote: “Thank you, his excellence, Governor Seyi Makinde, for making time to meet with us today despite coinciding with his wife's birthday.

“Warm wishes for excellence Mrs. Tamunomini Makinde.

“After today's meeting, we are still cautiously optimistic while we advance to ensure a common position between the leadership of our great party.
