Must Read

Author: Hadjet Gbolabo Oso

I received an e-copy of this book from tebebabooks.com and was impressed by the simplicity of the writing.

As I went through the book, I could feel the author’s personality shining through. It felt like she was having a conversation with the readers. The writing was natural and not lengthy.

I was not surprised by the excellent command of English in the book, considering that the author has a first degree in English Language. She showed a great mastery of the language.

The book consists of ten chapters: Time, Storms, Waiting, Hope, Faith, God the Promise Maker and Promise Keeper, You are Waiting not Wasting, There is a Purpose for Waiting, The Presence of God in Your Season of Waiting, and When Change Comes.

The visual representation at the start of each chapter is outstanding, and the insights from each chapter are unique. I will focus briefly on chapters 1 and 2 of the book.

God has a timetable for each of us and operates with decency and order (1 Corinthians 14:40).

We pray to align ourselves with God’s calendar and not miss our appointed time in His plans for us.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 encapsulates the essence of life in its various seasons. The author emphasizes that God’s timing is always perfect, whether immediate or delayed.

Despite challenges that may seem insurmountable, they will pass, and patience will lead to a positive outcome.

Storms, also known as sieges or tempests, are temporary and serve a purpose in our lives. They can strengthen us and reveal our true selves.

Regardless of the timing of storms in our lives, maintaining faith in God is crucial. He is the source of strength and calm amidst the chaos.

Cooperating with God during difficult times allows Him to work wonders in our lives, just as He did for biblical figures like Jesus, Joseph, and David.

Trust in God’s power to bring peace and resolution to any storm we face.
