The prison release date of American rapper Sean John Combs, popularly known as Sean Diddyhas been transferred again, and the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, now lists February 5, 2028 as the date he is expected to be released from prison.
The latest change comes weeks after the rapper was released from solitary confinement following an altercation with another inmate at the facility.
Sean Diddy’s release date has changed several times in recent months. In July, Page Six confirmed with the Federal Bureau of Prisons that his release had been moved up a month, from February 23, 2028, to January 24, 2028, after the three-time Grammy winner was involved in a fight with another prisoner.
However, the agency’s website later listed February 20, 2028 as Sean Diddy’s release date earlier this month. The latest roster from the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix now shows February 5, 2028.
TMZ reported in July that Sean Diddy, 56, became involved in a heated confrontation after another inmate allegedly belittled him.
Multiple sources told the outlet that the prisoners fought and pushed each other during the incident. A source alleged that Combs “held his ground” during the altercation.

Prison staff eventually intervened and separated the men, after which Sean Diddy, a father of seven, was placed in solitary confinement.
TMZ reported in August that Sean Diddy had subsequently been released from solitary confinement. The Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to confirm details about his confinement to Page Six, saying in a statement: “For privacy and security reasons, we do not release information about any inmate’s conditions of confinement, including housing assignments, nor do we discuss whether a particular inmate is the subject of allegations, investigations or sanctions.”
Sean Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison and later transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, to Fort Dix.
The Revolt co-founder also continues to face dozens of lawsuits containing allegations including sexual assault, drugs and trafficking. Combs has maintained his innocence.
