Former Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has called on Nigerians to ignore all prejudices and massively support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resolve the challenges currently facing the country.
Emmanuel made the call on Sunday in an interactive session held with journalists at the Nine Lessons and Carol Pre-Service held at the United Evangelical Church, Surulere, Lagos, noting that all hands must be on hand to massively provide the necessary support for the President to resolve the problems facing the country.
According to the immediate past governor of Imo State, “Nigerians across ethnic, partisan and religious divides must come together at this juncture in our national life to support the President in resolving issues that may plunge our nation into crisis,” saying this was not the time to dwell on the factors that created division and further undermined the national unity of the country.
“This is not the time to dwell on the factors that create divisions, the issues that expand the boundaries of our disagreements and further undermine our national unity.
“Rather, as a people, we must unite to confront our common enemies by providing all necessary support to President Tinubu to enable him face the challenges that militate against the progressive movement on which he has based our nation,” he said.
Emmanuel, however, encourages President Tinubu to continue pursuing visions that would help the country overcome its current challenges and take it to the ultimate goal of achieving good governance.
