Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has expressed excitement over her estranged parents’ reconciliation, describing it as a long-awaited moment of peace for her family.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Regina revealed that her parents, once sworn enemies, had reunited solely for their happiness.
“Two sworn enemies who meet for no other negative reason than their daughter’s happiness. And dare I question God for putting me in this situation?” she wrote.
The actress also revealed that her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has reportedly been detained.
“Sammy’s arrest is taking too long, but we’ll get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” he added.
Regina went on to praise her parents, describing her father as “one of the greatest lawyers of the time” and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, as “a powerhouse” who would do anything for her children.
“My father is a lawyer. Actually one of the greatest of his time, but it happened in Nigeria. Will I tell you more about my father later and my mother? She is a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you mom and dad! This is all I ever wanted,” he wrote.
This comes after the actress fell out with her ex-husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, in October. She accused him of physically assaulting her, an accusation the senator has since denied, claiming his behavior was influenced by substance abuse.
