The Congress of all progressives (APC) in the state of Lagos has described the prophecy of a single term of the presidency of Bola Tinubu by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as nothing more than a ridiculous and excited thought.
The party, according to its spokesman, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, reformulated that no amount of idle talk of the coalition can derail the historical mandate and the constant leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
Oladejo, in a statement on Wednesday, urged the Nigerians to ignore the distractions of lightweights such as ADC and others and remain firm in their support for the administration of President Tinubu.
The ADC, he said, “as a series of deserters in series, is already in support of political life and will soon strive to oblivion.”
He said: “His (ADC) states that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be a single -term president is nothing more than inactive talk of a party that has never tried power in the center and it is unlikely to do so in this life.
“It is quite convenient for a party that has no record of winning elections nationwide to start writing imaginary scripts about the possession of a leader whose political sagacity, service history and ability to deliver are out of doubt.
“President Tinubu has just begun the hard work of restoring Nigeria in the path of growth and sustainable progress. Nigerians are already seeing bold and oriented policies oriented to people that minor leaders have avoided for decades.
“The APC under Tinubu is placing solid bases, step by step, for a lasting transformation, while the ADC continues to progress without roots or direction.”
Speaking about the possibilities of the ADC in the surveys, he said: “There is absolutely nothing on the field that shows that the ADC has any possibility of the polls. If in fact ‘the morning shows the day’, then the results of the elections by the elections by the country, where the APC swept for an overwhelming victory, says volumes.
“These victories were not only a referendum about the government of Tinubu, but also an overwhelming vote of trust by the Nigerians. Clearly, the ADC will work better in a circus sand than in the political tribune. President Tinubu is not only directing a government: it is consolidating a legacy with which generations will be considered.”
