The Muslim community of the State of OSun has appealed to the state governor, Senator Nurudeen Adeke, to recruit more teachers in primary and secondary public schools of the State.
The association also urged the governor to end communal clashes among some cities of the State.
The president of OSMC, Alhaji Mustafa Olawuyi, made the Osogbo appeal during the new commemoration of Hijrah 1447 by Muslims in the state.

Olawuyi said that OSMC has observed the acute shortage of teachers in all educational institutions in the state, especially at the primary and secondary level, and has requested urgent recruitment and the publication of teachers to schools throughout the state.
He asked Governor Adeke to take the necessary measures to resolve the leadership crisis of the local government so that the Local Government Council is functional and guarantees the provision of services to people.
Olawuyi also accused the governor to guarantee a permanent solution to the community shock among the people of the cities of Ifon and Ilobu, as well as the city of Erin-Osun.
Speaking about the essence of the celebration, Olawuyi said: “Hijrah teaches us to migrate from bad to good, and remember that Allah Almighty, our creator and supporter, cannot be deceived. He will reward us all for our works.
A lawful lawyer in the State, the lawyer Qazeem Odedeji, in his conference on the subject 'Shari'a and the Nigerian secular legal framework: conflict or coexistence in the south', said that the Nigerian Constitution recognizes the Sharia as an integral part of the Nigerian legal system.
