Nasir El-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna, has criticized the current administration, stating that the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not acting in the best interest of the Nigerians.
He made the statement when he appeared in Channel’s Sunday policy program, monitored by Tribune online Sunday.
“Everyone knows that I am one of the founding parents of APC and also knows that I made some contributions to bring to like this Waju (Tinubu) to the presidency.

“If the Government of Sowaju has derailed and is not doing what it should do, it is not serving the interests of the Nigerians, shouldn’t that criticize it? Is that the logic in Nigeria now?
“The government’s purpose is to do things for people and the country,” he said.
He also accused Kaduna’s state government of sponsoring the recent attack against the ADC meeting in the state, added that he would provide evidence to the appropriate authority to investigate.
The withdrawal of violence broke out on Saturday at the inauguration of an ADC Transition Committee formed by opposition matches in Kaduna.
Suspicion of thugs invaded the place, attacking the participants and damaging the property.
Several people were injured and the vehicles were destroyed.
Despite the chaos, the inauguration of the ADC committee in Kaduna continued in tense conditions.
