Genk’s head coach, Thorsten Fink, wants Tolu Arokodare to stay with the team, according to DAILY POST.
There is a chance that Arokodare might leave the team before the transfer period ends.
Former Turkish champions, Trabzonspor, are very interested in Arokodare, who is from Nigeria.
Fink said, “Believe me, there is no better striker in Belgium than Tolu. But he needs to show his skills and passion, like he did in the match against Club Brugge,” as quoted by HLN.
Fink added, “I am sure I can help him play his best. He knows I trust him. I really hope we can convince him to stay. Under €10M, you won’t find a striker with his talents. Only if there is a very high offer and the player wants to leave, will we let him go.”
This season, Arokodare has already scored two goals in two league games for Genk.
