Inyang Ekpenyong, the health officer in Cross River State, shared that two people in Calabar Municipality have been found to have M-Pox.
The health team has moved the sick people to a special place where they can be alone and get better.
In a message, Inyang said, “Our team is starting to find and check everyone who was close to the sick people.”
She also said they need money quickly to help with all the work they are doing.
A few days ago, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said there are 56 M-Pox cases in the whole country. Cross River State has five of those cases.
