Coach Bankole Olowookere, who leads the Flamingos, is excited and says his team is ready for their first game in the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Nigeria’s team, the Flamingos, will play against New Zealand. This match will happen at the CFC Stadium in Santiago de los Caballeros tonight.

The game starts at 9 PM if you are in Nigeria.

“I believe our girls will do a great job in this competition. We have worked hard to be ready and we wish to perform even better than we did in India,” Coach Olowookere shared with thenff.com.

The Flamingos will also play against the Dominican Republic and Ecuador as part of Group A.

Their game with Ecuador is on Saturday, October 19th, and they will face the Dominican Republic on Tuesday, October 22nd.
