Why American buyers Boicotan Amazon for Temu

A significant boycott consumption to Amazon and its extensive network of subsidiaries with participants that promise to refrain from the giant of electronic commerce and its affiliates until May 12.

This action marks the last of a series of protests promoted by concerns about the alleged corporate greed, the reversal of the initiatives of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) by some companies and the efforts of the administration of President Donald Trump to eliminate federal Dei programs.

The boycott is being headed by the Popular Union, a base organization that previously orchestrated an economic blackout of February 28 and a three -day follow -up in April.

This week's boycott covers a wide range of entities owned by Amazon, including popular brands such as Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Prime Video, Audible, Twitch, Ring, Zappos and Kindle.

This anti-Amazon movement coincides with separate boycots organized by other groups aimed at retailers such as Target and additional companies that have reduced their commitments to Dei.

Meanwhile, in a significant development for the electronic commerce panorama, Temu, a rapid growth market, has announced a substantial change in its business model. A few days after the closing of a key commercial escape that previously facilitated the direct shipment of low -cost Chinese manufacturing goods to US consumers, Temu has stopped these direct shipments. According to Amaris Encinas, the platform will now offer mainly store goods located within the United States. This strategic change occurs when companies adapt to evolving regulations and commercial rates.

In related economic news, the Federal Reserve is currently being convened, and financial analysts widely anticipate that the Central Bank will keep the current interest rates when its meeting ends tomorrow. This decision will be observed closely by consumers and companies equally as they navigate the current economic climate.
