A man named Shehu Usman has taken his niece and sister-in-law, Hauwa’u Muhammad and Jamila Kasim, to a Shari’a court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna State. He says they scared his wife.
Shehu says that Hauwa’u and Jamila came into his wife’s room, said mean things to her, and also threatened to hurt her.
Shehu wants the court to help him and give him justice.
But, Hauwa’u and Jamila say they did not do what Shehu says they did.
The judge, Malam Anas Khalifa, said Hauwa’u and Jamila can go home for now, but they have to bring a leader from their community as a promise that they will come back.
The judge also told Shehu to bring people who saw what happened to the court on October 16.
