The Hisbah Board in Kano State is looking for Auwal Danladi Sankara, who used to be the Commissioner for Special Duties in Jigawa State. He is in trouble because people say he had a secret relationship with a married woman, and he did not come to a meeting to talk about it.
On Monday, a meet-up with reporters was held by Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa. He is the head of the Hisbah organization. He said that before doing anything else, they wanted to sit down and talk with everyone involved to solve the problem. But Sankara did not show up for the meeting.
Sheikh Daurawa said, “Sankara didn’t want to talk with us to solve the problem, so we need to find and take him to court.”
He also mentioned that the office he works at is known for helping people behave well and resolving problems peacefully. But if someone does not want help, sometimes they have to go to court to solve the problem.
