The Adamawa State Police command has deployed security personnel in the communities of Lamza and Kawa after a community shock that resulted in the destruction of the property.
The police commissioner, CP Dankombo Morris, ordered the Deputy Police Commissioner, Investigation Department) to carry out a detailed investigation into the incident, which occurred on March 14, 2025.
In a statement, the Police Public Relations officer (PPRO) Sp Suleiman Yahaya Nguurje expressed the concern of the PC for the loss of property and reassured Guyuk residents that justice would be served.
The CP also ordered the officers to stop those responsible, emphasizing that normality has been restored in the affected areas.
