At least 25 women have been kidnapped by alleged bandits in the city of Kurmi, area of the local government of Maru of the State of Zamfara.
According to BBC Hausa, women were aimed at attending a wedding ceremony when the attackers intercepted them and took them.
In a separate incident, 19 people were also kidnapped in Galadi, a city in the area of the state of local government of the State.
Several others suffered wounds during the attack, which occurred at night.
Both attacks have caused fear and anxiety among residents in affected communities.
The state of Zamfara has been experiencing a series of violent attacks in recent years, with rural areas often attacked by armed groups.
