A Nigerian woman, Adeyemi Adejoke Abidemi, whose bank account had only ₦ 67, received a gift of 6 million Mogul of Music Don Jazzy, which caused a wide emotion in social networks.
The unexpected surprise began when a viral publication in X (previously Twitter) encouraged users to label a celebrity that could give them ₦ 1 million. Adeyemi, tweeting through the mango @poopolajoke4, labeled Don Jazzy, writing: “Make him #Donjazzy. Always dream of him. Happy New Lord month.”
Don Jazzy responded with a simple “Namba Akant”, which led her to leave her details of GTBANK. Moments later, he shared a screenshot that shows a 1 million credit alert with the subtitle: “Jesuuuuusssssss, this is huge … Receiving 1 million Naira is beyond everything I expected.”
However, the chief of Mavin Records did not leave. After noticing his previous account balance of ₦ 67.29, he continued with an additional transfer of ₦ 5 million. “Amen ooo. That your akant balance is not healthy. I do not add another 5 million. More blessed ma,” Don Jazzy published.
An Adeyemi emotional confirmed the second credit with a screenshot that reflects ₦ 6 million in its account. “I am deeply grateful for this extraordinary blessing,” he wrote. “That the Almighty who used it to raise me reward beyond the measure … Thank you #Donjazzy.”
Reacting to the skeptics questioning their financial statement, he added: “None of my accounts get 1 naira. I can capture everything for you, only GTBANK gets 67 Naira.”
