The coordinator of the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), Dr. Felix Obuah, expressed on Tuesday his resolution to associate with the Union of Nigeria journalists (NUJ), FCT Infrastructure Development Council throughout the federal territory of Capital (FCT).
Obauah gave the security in Abuja while heading to the president of Nuj FCT, comrade Grace Ike and the members of the executive team.

He applauded the vital role that plays the media by informing the public about AMMC activities, which is helping the agency to guarantee full fulfillment of the FCT master plan.
“Today I welcome your team to our corporate office. I have heard you and I only have to say that, I am very happy to partner with the Nuj FCT.
“We need to associate together to achieve our central and corporate mandate. And when we associate together we support each other and grow together and educate the public to achieve the development of infrastructure in the FCT in line with the master plan of the capital city of the nation,” he said.
While expressing his willingness to support the Council NUJ FCT, Chief Obuah explained that current financial limitations make it difficult to make any immediate commitment, but they hope to meet the needs of the unions in the next budget
“Although I am a bit disabled to make any promise due to the budget limitations. But in the subsequent budget, I assure you that whatever we can do to help your dream come true for Nuj and its members, the agency will do everything humanly as possible to contribute its quota to the growth of the online union with the FCT master plan.
“You can write my office about what you feel we can do officially. I will also present it in the next budget and I will go to my superior, the Honorable Minister of FCT, and I will say that these people visited me and came with a very solid and verified programming.
He said that the media play a very vital role in the growth and development of any organization.
Obauah used the occasion to congratulate the first president of the Union after four years of his existence and pray for a successful mandate.
Previously, the president of the NUJ FCT, the comrade Ike praised the AMMC coordinator for the effective management and coordination of municipal services, as well as the development of infrastructure in the federal territory of Capital (FCT).
She used the occasion to congratulate her support for the well -being of the workers who earned her the prize of the defenders of the employee of the year.
She said: “I must congratulate her leadership efforts to ensure proper maintenance and sustainable infrastructure management, public services and city services.”
He highlighted the main infrastructure challenges that currently face the Council of Nuj FCT ​​and requested support to improve its facilities, such as the completion of the Pentagon building, and a room that cannot house more than 2,000 journalists during its monthly congress.
He also presented a strong case for the “village of journalists” of Nuj FCT, which would offer journalists affordable homes and an adequate environment to carry out his work.
