Afrobeat Star, David Adelev, popularly known as Davido, has affirmed that his uncle and title governor of the state of Osun, Adela Adelev, is the best governor that the State has had.
Davido said this while he appeared in the Podcast of Culture Knock Out, organized by Chris and Baloo, where he affirmed his respect for his leadership. He also said that people judged him for his love for dance, but has proven to be highly competent.

According to Grammy's nominated singer, his uncle is an example of not judging people for his appearance.
He said: “My uncle, the dancer is a good vibes. He has an incredible story, he is the last born of my father's family. [Osun people] He never thought he would become governor.
“It is a real example of” Do not judge a book on its cover “; just because someone likes to dance and have a good time, it does not mean that when it's time to work, he will not. Now, he has been the best governor they have ever had.”
Meanwhile, Governor Adeke emerged the Governor of the State of Osun in 2022 after surveying the highest votes in the election of acute disputed governor against the then titular governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of the Congress of all the progressive (APC).
As the 2026 choice is approaching outside the cycle in the state, the governor recently declared that he has no plan to defect the APC in the midst of the softer wave of the opposition parties to the governing APC in the center.
Tribune Online also reports that the interested parties in the state of OSun have also backed Governor Adeke as the choice of PDP to fly the party's flag in the 2026 governor elections in the state.
