Elon Musk has launched a scathing attack against the “great bill of President Donald Trump, calling the radical legislative package as an” unpleasant abomination “and denouncing those who supported him in Congress.
“It's a shame for those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it,” Musk said.
The billionaire Tesla and the CEO of Spacex published their rebuke on Tuesday afternoon X, expressing frustration with what he described as an excessive and irresponsible federal expense.
“I'm sorry, but I can't stand it. This expense bill of the massive, outrageous and full of pork coat is an unpleasant abomination,” Musk wrote.
He continued: “The shame of those who voted for it: you know that you did wrong. You know it.”
The bill, which approved the Chamber in May with an almost unanimous republican support, includes provisions to reduce Medicaid and extend tax cuts initially introduced during the Trump period in 2017. The measure has already caused debate among fiscal conservatives, and Musk's comments are amplifying the tension.
During a weekly lunch in Capitol Hill, Republican senators reported Musk's position. Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin, a well -known fiscal hawk, recognized his rapid propagation among colleagues.

While Musk had previously expressed his disappointment with the bill in a recent interview, his latest statements marked a remarkable escalation. The comments occur when Musk officially moves away from his advice role in the Trump administration.
On Friday, Musk appeared with Trump at a press conference to commemorate his service. Trump praised Musk hotly and rejected suggestions of discord between them.
