On Tuesday, an owner who still did not identify, escaped by little death when a mast of communication collapsed in his residential building in the Akute area of ​​the state of Ogun.
Daily Post gathered that the mast belonging to the IHS company collapsed due to severe climatic conditions.
Confirming the incident to Daily Post on Wednesday, police spokesman Omolola Odutola said it happened around 2:39 pm
Odutola revealed that one of Mr. Moses Olalere reported the incident to the command.
Odutola said: “According to its eyewitness account, a communication mast belonging to the IHS company, located in Ajuwon, Akute, Ogun, collapsed due to severe climatic conditions. The mast fell into a residential building in Unity Estate, Alagbole.
“Fortunately, the owner, who was inside the house at the time of the incident, survived with minor bruises. The medical staff attended him quickly and confirms that he is in a stable condition.”
In response to the incident, the police commissioner, Lanre Ogunlowo, urged companies that have masts located near residential areas to evaluate their structural integrity and guarantee the safety of lives and property.
