A girl from the state of Benue, identified as faith, was tragically stabbed by alleged thieves on Friday along Mobile Road in the Ajah area of Lagos.
It was said that Faith, originally from Itakpa Ito in the area of the local government of OBI of the state of Benue, had visited her earlier boyfriend in the day and returned home when the attack occurred.
The eye witnesses said it was approached by a group of men who tried to snatch their phone and bag. There was a fight, during which one of the assailants stabbed her on the neck with a sharp object, which is believed to be a knife.
They left her bleeding on the road and then found lifeless by the passers -by, who alerted the security authorities. His remains have been deposited in a nearby morgue.
