The veteran Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright, has opened about her personal life, revealing her desire to marry again, saying: “I would love to get married again.”
The 58 -year -old actress released this during an interview with BBC Yoruba, where she talked about her personal life, challenges abroad and returned to acting.
Bukky Wright, who has married and divorced in the past, said he still has company hope and fervently pray for another marriage opportunity.
“Yes, I want to get married again. I even picked up for it when I went to Mecca,” he said. “But if it doesn't happen, it's not the end of the world.”

The actress, better known for her roles both in the Yoruba language and in the English of Nollywood Productions, left Nigeria in 2008 for the United States, where she focused on raising her two children.
However, life abroad was not exempt from struggles. She reported dealing with the pain of divorce, fighting loneliness and depression, and facing the harsh realities of survival in a foreign land.
Instead of assuming the work he considered degraded, Wright said he chose to reinvent himself professionally returning to school to follow a new career.
“I told myself that I will not do a dirty or degrading job,” he said. “So I returned to school. I learned it, audit and cybersecurity.”
According to her, the bold decision finally paid off, since she successfully forged a second career in the technology industry, specializing in auditing and cybersecurity.
Despite his achievements in that space, he said that his passion for acting never vanished.
Now that his children are cultivated and independent, Wright said he is ready to return to his performance, which he considers “first love.”
“My children are now enough to take care of themselves, so that I can act again,” he shared. “Wait in 'The Return of Omotara Johnson' and other new projects.”
The next film, The Return of Omotara Johnson, is a sequel to one of his most beloved roles and is expected to mark his complete re -entry in the scene of the Nigerian film.
Speaking about the evolution of Nollywood, Wright expressed a deep pride of how far the industry has come, praising the youngest generation of filmmakers for raising the bar in the narration and quality of production.
“The industry has grown. It is at another level now. I am proud of young filmmakers and what they are doing,” he said.
