We will follow him wherever I go, Osun PDP leadership caucus supports Adeleke in the midst of drop -out rumors

The leadership of the Caucus of the State of OSun of the Democratic Party of the Peoples (PDP) approved on Saturday a vote of confidence in Governor Adela Adeleke, affirming his commitment to follow him wherever he goes.

After his meeting in the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Bending, the leadership of the party issued a statement, ensuring his firm support to the governor.

In the statement, made available to journalists by the governor's spokesman, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Caucus acknowledged that, although the governor is still consulting on his next course of action, they will support him and align him with his eventual decision.

They said: “We declared our unanimous support for any political decision that you can make in the midst of the growing speculation about possible dropout.”

Caucus praised the performance and leadership style of Governor Adeke, ordering him to continue consultations with interested parties both inside and outside the State.

Present at the meeting there were representatives of all segments of the party and the government, including the members of the National and State Assemblies, the State Executive Council, the leadership of the party, the Forum of Special Advisors, the Caucus of the Elders and the leadership of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Osun chapter.
