The veteran musician, on Friday IGWEH, popularly known as Baba fryo, has attributed the collapse of marriage between the legend of Innocent Idibia music, known as 2Baba, and actress Annie Macaulay to the pressures of her shared career in the entertainment industry.
Speaking in Pidgin's English in the Honest Bunch podcast, Baba Froy said that the couple's inability to properly manage their relationship was due to the fact that both public figures, a situation that believes that it often generates conflicts when it is not carefully handled.
He said: “2Face and his wife, two of them, I will say that they are not handled well. Both are artists. Annie is an actress, and 2face is a musician.”
Baba fryo argued that traditionally, the role of a wife includes helping to keep the husband punished, particularly in situations in which man can be attracted by unhealthy habits.
However, he questioned how such balance could be achieved if both spouses exhibit similar features.
“When a man is drinking, the woman will observe it, and if she is drinking too much, the woman will calm him,” he said. “But if you marry a woman who also drinks, when both are drunk, who will take the other house?”

He added: “When a man sees it, he will become insecure in marriage. And when he leaves and sees another woman with a different attitude.”
Baba Froy also made a personal revelation during the podcast, claiming familiarity with the current 2nd companion, Natasha, saying: “I do not say that this scenario is good, because even the current 2face lover, Natasha, is someone I have met.”
He revealed that he had met Natasha since his early childhood and once took her to her lap when she was only three years old.
