Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has expressed a strong disapproval after an influencer of social networks supposedly wanted someone's death due to political differences.
Taking to his Instagram page, Badmus described the act as discouraging and urged the Nigerians to embrace the Pacific dialogue instead of resorting to hatred and threats.
“It is really discouraging to see an influencer of social networks to use their platform to desire death to anyone. It does not matter their political views, we must never let hatred annul our humanity,” he wrote.
The actress, who has recently been at the center of attention after a clash reported with her partner actress Laide Bakare, took the opportunity to advocate for unity, decency and respect in political and public discourse.
“As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want to change, that it is through dialogue, truth and unity, not the violence or the desires of death. Let's choose decency over division,” he added.
Badmus emphasized the importance of keeping humanity above political differences, asking Nigerians to overcome online toxicity and promote a more respectful society.
