The Kaduna State Police command has warned residents to remain away from the areas designated in the metropolis as a two -day shooting field exercise begins on Tuesday for recruits.
The Public Relations officer of the State Police, DSP Mansir Hassan, declared in public release that the year would be carried out in the Field of Tire Amanan Kasuwa along Maraban Jos – Panbegua Road in the area of the local government of Igabi.
He warned residents and travelers who avoid the neighborhood during training, ensuring that adequate security measures have been established.
“The public should not be alarmed by the sounds of the shooting during the exercise. The command has ensured strict security protocols,” said Hassan.
He added that the training aims to sharpen the operational preparation of police personnel to face future security challenges.
