The agents of the Territory of the Federal Capital, the FCT Police Command, arrested 116 suspects of different black points throughout the territory over drug -related crimes.
The Public Relations officer of the FCT Police, SP Josephine Adeh, made the revelation in a statement on Thursday.
According to her, the operations covered areas such as Asokoro, Tradermore, Mapape, Kurudu, Kubwa, Gwarimpa, Jikwoyi, Utako, LiFe Camp, Zuba and Karshi.
The PPRO revealed that the exhibitions that include several illicit substances, hard drugs and dry leaves suspected of being cannabis were recovered from the suspects.
“After diligent detection, 89 suspects were released, while the remaining criminals have been accused of courts for public discomforts and possession of drugs and illicit substances,” the statement added.
