At least three farmers were injured in an attack of alleged shepherds in the area of ​​the local government of Tafawa-Balewa of the state of Bauchi.

According to a publication shared in X by the security analyst Zagazola Makama on Tuesday, the incident occurred on Monday night in Pyekman’s village.

The victims; Esther Amos, 58, Naomi Sabo, 37, and Emmanuel Manasseh, 16 were attacked while working on their farm.

According to Makama, farmers suffered various degrees of injuries and were taken to the General Hospital in Tafawa-Balewa, where they are currently receiving treatment.

The Bauchi State Police Commissioner has directed tactical equipment, including the Operation Restoration Restoration (ORP), the Anti-Kidnapping unit (AKU), the fast-response equipment (RSS) and nearby police divisions, to reinforce security in the area and restore calm.
