A habitual superior court in Kaduna ordered that a corpse erroneously buried in Fadiya, Zangon Kataf Lga, of the state of Kaduna, is exhume and a adequate burial is granted according to the tradition and custom of the people of Bajju.
A disagreement between the children of the late Mrs. Cecilia Peter Kabruk about her last resting place led to a prolonged family dispute that maintained the body of the deceased not understood for a long time.
The president of a regular superior court of the state of Kaduna, the judicial television division, Douglas Danladi, while issuing a trial, explained that the body of the late Mrs. Cecilia that was mistakenly buried was exhumed and delivered to the elders of the family by the appropriate burial.
The magistrate also granted the sum of N2.5 million with the purpose of unlocking the house in Fadiya, Zangon Kataf, for the exhumation of the body and filling the old grace.
Barr. James Bala Ndam, who represented the creditors of Emmanuel Bakam Peter and Sama Bakam, explained that they previously won the case in the General Court of the UPPER and the usual Court of Appeal against the other party that includes Hajiya Maryam Doka, Doka,
Maureen Kabruk, Dud Peter, George Peter and Pascalina Bakam.
Ndam explained that after two judgments, the other party appealed against the trials. He said they also filed an affidavit against the Court of Appeals, but before the claim hearing, the other party continued to violate the judicial orders and buried the late Mrs. Cecilia Peter Kabruk.
He explained that he had prayed for an order that committed the respondents to the prison for violating the judicial orders contained in the trials issued on September 19, 2024 and February 6, 2025.
