A man, his wife and little son died tragically on Wednesday afternoon in Abuja after his car crashed during a fight with Touts, commonly called “Agberos.”
Eye witnesses said the family was driving a Toyota Highlander after buying a new refrigerator when three promotions began chasing them from the Berger area.
The reports say that the thugs supposedly made their way in the SUV and began to drag the steering wheel with the driver.
“In the process of fighting for control, the car got into the pillar under the bridge before falling into drainage,” an eyewitness told Leadership.
According to the reports, the accident killed the man, his wife and his son instantly.
The collision also crashed into a green taxi that was parked nearby.
The chaos enraged the spectators, who immediately descended on the touts. One of them was lynching on the spot.
Police officers from the Mabushi division arrived at the scene and rescued the remaining two suspects, which were seriously injured.
They were taken to the National Hospital, while the body of the lynching tout was removed by security agents.
