The troops of Operation Fansan Yanma have frustrated an attempt of terrorists to whisper cattle in the village of Gulma, local government area of the Kebbi state.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, shared the development in an X publication on Friday.
According to Makama, armed men had assaulted the community, but were quickly intercepted by soldiers.
According to him, the troops mobilized to the scene and hired the terrorists in Zazzaga along the Kangiwa road -Argunguungu, forcing them to leave the cattle.
“A total of 30 cows were recovered during the operation and then delivered to Alhaji Sule, the Sarkin Kara de Lailaba Village, to return to their legitimate owners,” Makama wrote.
