Police ask for immediate information about criminals, rescues girl in Abia

The Police Commissioner, ABIA State Command, Danladi Isa has urged the members of the Union of Tricycle Operators of the State of Abia, Astopu, to immediately report suspicious activities to the Police, to criticize the crime of outbreak.

Danladi, who made the call on Wednesday when he received the executive members of Astopu in his office in Umuahia, said that tricycles have sometimes been used to perpetrate crimes in Abia.

He promised to associate with all interested parties to maintain the law, order and safety of the people of Abia and their properties, emphasizing that his command focuses on promoting synergy with the union of tricycle in the combination of crime in the State.

Danladi reminded the delegates, led by the Senior Advisor of the Governor of Transportation, Obioma Nwaogbe, of the importance of rapid information.

Meanwhile, the ABIA State Police command has announced the rescue of a dark complexion girl about four years suspected of being stolen.

A statement from the spokesman for the command, Maureen Chinaka said Thursday that the girl was rescued in Mbutu Isiala NGWA by unknown persons when observing the police.

DSP Chinaka said that the rescued child could not clearly indicate his name or where he came from.

He advised parents, tutors or relationships whose girl is missing to visit the Office of the Graves Crime Investigation Squad (scissors) ABA or communicate with the Police Public Relations officer for consultations.
