The Primary Ministry of Health of the State of Niger has launched a solid defense and sensitization driver through the Emirates of the state of Kontagora and Kagara for the next integrated introduction of the vaccine vaccine and the Polyomyelitis (impact) campaign funded by the World Bank.
The permanent secretary, Dr. Mohammed Win, while talking at the Palace, said the initiative is key to ensure that each segment of the population is well informed and ready for the vaccination process.
He also said that Governor Mohammed, the administration led by Umaru Bago is committed to proactive public health measures.
The impact project manager, Hamza Tijani, explained that the main objective of the immunization campaign in Niger is to achieve integral immunization against these preventable diseases, ensuring that each eligible child receives the necessary protection.
He stressed that the crucial role of the campaign is to minimize the morbidity and mortality associated with measles, rubella and polyomyelitis, thus promoting the healthiest and most resistant populations.
While focused on measles and rubella, both Dr. Junaidu Innuwa and Dr. Hauwa Nnatako spoke widely about the seriousness of measles and rubella, highlighting the effectiveness of vaccines. They confirmed that vaccines will be administered free of charge.
They expressed the gratitude and pleasure that the impact project was introduced as a transformative community health initiative, which is vital for disease elimination efforts.
In his separate comments, the Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora, his real highness, Alhaji Muhammadu Bara Muazu II, and emir of Kagara, Mallam Ahmed Gunna Attahiru II, promised their support to mobilize their communities.
Meanwhile, the Ministry urged all parents and guardians throughout Niger to make the most of free and vital health intervention to protect their children and rooms against these weakening diseases.
