The agents of the Zonal Directorate of Kaduna of the Commission of Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC) have arrested Abdulazeez Gbadebo, a manager of Emadeb Energy Service Limited station, for allegedly diverting funds that amount to N500 million.

His arrest followed a request from the company, which claimed that an external audit discovered fraud involving the illegal detour and the sale of bulk gasoline. The income, with a value of half a billion Naira, were supposedly channeled in the personal bank accounts of Gbadebo.

EFCC investigations revealed that the suspect sold gasoline and diesel gasoline directly to individuals while manipulating bomb meters and avoided company accounts.

The articles recovered from it include multiple luxury vehicles, including a Mercedes Benz with ashes, three mini chickens, and a Mercedes Benz Gick Blanco, as well as property documents linked to the Kaduna Geographic Information System (Kadgis), an occupation certificate, a three -jump bungalow and three landed properties.

The EFCC said the suspect will be prosecuted in the Court at the end of the investigations.
