Several villagers are feared dead, while many others remain missing, following an alleged attack by herdsmen on Anwule community in Oglewu, Ohimini Local Government Area, Benue State.
Newslodge reports that the attackers attacked the farmers while they were working in their fields, killing several with machetes and other weapons.
The assault has forced residents to flee their homes and seek refuge in neighboring communities.
