Nigerian comedian and veteran emcee, Sunday Onyenachiya, popularly known as Sunny Messiah, has hosted his stand-up special, SUNNY MESSIAH Paternity Leave, in Lagos.
Presented with sharp, intelligent humor and features articulated in English, Sunny’s Paternity Leave took audiences on an unforgettable journey through fatherhood, marriage, family chaos and modern Nigerian adulthood.
His performance drew continuous laughter, nods and applause from an audience, made up of fans, cultural influencers, media partners and industry experts.
“Paternity leave is my story. A story of love, stress, joy, and the little craziness that comes with starting a family. I wanted to bring those moments to life in a way that people could relate to, no matter their background. And if someone laughed hard enough to find healing, hope, or even the courage to get married or become a parent, then I’m grateful.
