Fuji music icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly known as k1 last, became emotional during a live performance while mourning the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
In a video circulating on social media, Maestro Fuji broke down in tears as he paid tribute to the late actor and reflected on his legacy in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
During the performance, K1 De Ultimate performed a tribute song to Ogogo, but was overcome with emotion as he sang about the actor’s death.
The musician walked away from his microphone and openly cried, causing his band members to pause the performance and console him.

After composing himself, K1 De Ultimate continued with the tribute while mourning the actor, who died on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the age of 66.
The actor had reportedly been battling stage four cancer. His daughters, Kaira and Lima Taiwo, had on August 17 requested medical assistance for their father, saying that doctors had informed the family that they could no longer administer chemotherapy due to his condition.
Since then, the actor’s death has sparked an outpouring of tributes from colleagues, friends, fans and other figures in the entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, arrangements have been announced for the late actor’s burial which would take place in his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State on Monday.
