The Kano State Anti-Corruption and Public Complaints Commission (PCACC) has arrested four persons over the alleged demolition of a classroom at Unguwa Uku Primary School in Tarauni Local Government Area of ​​the state.
Commission chairman Malam Saidu Yahaya said the investigation was launched following a complaint filed by some residents of the area over the alleged destruction of the classroom.
According to Yahaya, preliminary findings indicated that the school principal allegedly collaborated with some members of the School Management Committee (SBMC) and the Education Secretary of Tarauni Local Government Area to demolish the classroom and sell the iron bars and roofing materials without obtaining approval from the relevant authorities.
He said four suspects had been arrested in connection with the matter, adding that they would be charged to court once the investigation was concluded.

The PCACC Chairman called on the public to report any attempts to vandalize or illegally dispose of public and community property to enable the relevant authorities to take necessary action.
