A man simply identified as Favor reportedly strangled to death his wife, Blessing Oghwoghwo, a mother of two young children, and fled the crime scene at Okirigbagha area in Sapele Local Government Area of ​​Delta State.
It was learned that the fleeing suspect asked his late wife, who was selling provisions for money, but she refused, leading to an argument between them.
The suspect then reportedly beat and strangled his wife until she fell dead. Sensing that she had died and that his neighbors were coming to look for him, he quickly fled the scene, leaving behind his two small children, ages 5 and 3 respectively.
