The Adamawa State Police command has asked the public to help track the parents of a 10 -year -old boy identified as Samson James Daniel.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations officer of the Police, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguurje, the command said that the child was found wandering by Tsohon Kasuwa in Jimeta, the area of ​​the local government of Yola North, on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
“A good Samaritan took the child to the headquarters of the Division Police, Jimeta,” the statement explained.
According to the child, he comes from Mubi.
He also gave his father’s name as James Daniel and his mother’s name as Grace.
Police appealed to the public to provide useful information that can help gather the child with their family.
“Please help the command with useful information to track and unite it with your parents,” said Nguuroje.
The command advised parents or guardians to communicate with the Division Police officer (DPO) Jimeta through 09032163862 or communicate with the Office of the Police Public Relations officer at 08065604764.
