After a lot of people got very upset about actor Junior Pope’s death, Nollywood actress and filmmaker Adanma Luke said sorry to everyone in Nigeria.
On Monday, a video of Adanma started to spread on social media. In the video, Adanma was crying. She said she was sorry and took the blame for what happened to Junior Pope and others. She asked Nigerians to forgive her.
“I am here to say I am very sorry. I am sorry, Nigerians. People say I took away your loved ones. I am so sad that this happened during my movie work. I am trying to be strong, but I don’t feel strong.
“I feel very sad that they had to work for me when the bad thing happened. But I am not God. It was meant to be. Many people have been blaming me.
“Nigerians, I am not okay anymore. I don’t know what is happening to me. I didn’t plan what happened to Junior Pope and the crew members. Please forgive me,” she cried.
DAILY POST reported that Junior Pope died on April 10, 2024. He died with four crew members after their boat turned over in the River Niger in Asaba, Delta State. They were going to the movie location.
Adanma Luke made the movie that Junior Pope was acting in. The movie is called ‘The Other Side of Life’.
