Armed men kill man, kidnap a wife in the community of Nasarawa

The tragedy attacked Tuesday night in Aloshi, a city in the area of ​​the local government of Keana of the state of Nasarawa, while armed men invaded the residence of a Mr. Stephen Kwaghtomun, 37, killing him in the spot and kidnaping his 27 -year -old wife.

The attack occurred around 11:30 pm, causing panic in the community and raising new concerns about the deterioration of the security situation in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, armed assailants broke into the house and began to shoot sporadically before executing the victim, popularly known as “action”, and holding their wife strongly to a place not revealed.

“The whole community is still in a state of shock,” said a resident who requested anonymity for fear of reprisals.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Nasarawa State Command, SP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday.

“The suspected gunmen of being kidnappers broke into the residence of a Stephen Kwaghtomun, his wife killed him and kidnapped him,” Nansel said.

He added that the victim's remains have been deposited at the General Hospital of OBI, while the police launched a human hunt to locate the perpetrators and rescue the kidnapped woman.
