As part of their efforts to boost digital inclusion and reaffirm its long -term commitment, Airtel Nigeria investment plans are established to double the scope, announced the telecommunications provider.
The company's corporate communications director and CSR, FEMI Adeniran, said that the enlarged investment of Airtel Nigeria will cover critical infrastructure updates, rural coverage expansion, advanced data solutions, customer experience improvements and initiatives promoted by the community.
He described the movement how to reinforce the role of the company as a key player in the digital transformation and economic progress of Nigeria.
According to him, the company is rapidly implementing 5G technology in its sites throughout the country, allowing ultra fast data speeds and better service quality.
He also revealed that Airtel Nigeria is establishing additional sites to expand the scope of the network, particularly in unattended rural areas, ensuring that more Nigerian benefit from reliable mobile connectivity.
Also speaking about development, Airtel Nigeria CEO, Dineh Balsingh, described the investment as more than just technology, it is about making a positive difference in people's lives.
“Our decision to duplicate our investment reflects our deep commitment to Nigeria's future. As a company that considers Nigeria as a home, we are investing in transformative infrastructure that will offer an unique value to our clients and that connectivity is a daily reality for more Nigerian,” said Balsing.
