Chelsea will play against Bayern Munich in their round of 16 match of the Champions League behind closed doors.
This occurs in the midst of various adjustments to sporting events, due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
The Blues confirmed this in a brief statement posted on its official Twitter page.
"Our 16-second Champions League round-trip match at Bayern Munich next week will take place behind closed doors," he said.
Frank Lampard's men will seek to do the impossible at Allianz Arena next week.
Chelsea is still 3-0 from the first game played at Stamford Bridge and would need to win by four goals in Germany to reserve their place in the quarterfinals.
