Florence Otedola, who you might know as DJ Cuppy, is a famous DJ and the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola. She has made a big achievement by being the first Nigerian to host the opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
During the 2024 UNGA, Cuppy led the Youth Action Day, which was called “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.” Imagine she was like a teacher, guiding a big class of young people from all over the world.
After she gave her main talk, she also played some music for everyone. It turned into the biggest youth gathering ever seen at the UN headquarters!
Some other important people were there too, like the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and José Maria Neves, the president of Cape Verde.
