EFCC accuses man for alleged N1M fraud in Maiduguri

The Commission of Economic and Financial Crimes, EFCC, has prosecuted Mustapha Idris before Judge Aisha Kumaliya of the Superior Court of the State of Born in Maiduguri for an alleged fraud of N1 million.

The position says:

“That you, Mustopha Idris, sometimes in 2023, in Maiduguri, within the jurisdiction of this honorable court, dishonestly embezzled the sum of N1,000,000.00 belonging to Salisu Waziri allegedly as Money For Grain Investment, a claim that he knew that he was false and, therefore, he committed a crime to the opposite Born, and a claim of the section of the section of the section of the section of the section of the false section of the section of the Born Code section. “

Idris declared himself innocent of the position.

After his plea, the lawyer of the Prosecutor's Office, Aliyu D. Abdulmalik, requested a date of judgment and that the defendant was sent in a correctional center.

Judge Kumaliya granted the application and postponed the matter to July 10, for the beginning of the trial. He also ordered that Idris was sent to the Maiduguri Correctional Center.
